As a provider of ecological floor coverings, Vorwerk flooring offers more than just traditional carpeting. RE/COVER green is the name of the new collection of sustainable floorings. In addition to textile solutions, the collection offers attractive elastic design floor coverings with an extra “health factor”. This expansion of the line-up rounds out the range options for every kind of space – making millions of unique possibilities in design a reality. Of course, made in Germany. Made by Vorwerk.

RE/COVER green comes in a broad spectrum of colours and patterns which have been developed by the internationally renowned architect and design office Hadi Teherani. Each design has been inspired by both nature and the digital world. In addition to classic designs, the collection offers modern interpretations of stone, wood and metal optics, as well as used looks, to lend a unique character to any room. This harmonised palette of colours and designs offers millions of possibilities for the design of “green” flooring architecture – which is also perfectly complemented by the new line-up of free-form tiles (launched early 2019) and can be seamlessly combined with these. As a result, the manufacturer is offering a full range of ecological solutions in the form of textiles and elastic floor coverings for commercial building spaces, from a single source.

Thanks to the ecological combination of materials, the interplay of colours and artwork, RE/COVER green makes a significant contribution to initiating special aesthetical moments when it comes to “green” buildings. After all, the high standard being placed on consistently ecological and sustainable actions is growing – also in terms of architecture and interior design.

Those who live or work in a “green” environment can enjoy the atmosphere and let their lives unfold with a good conscious. RE/COVER green from Vorwerk flooring reflects this feeling. From the use of renewable energy during production to manufacturing to recycling, RE/COVER green satisfies every ecological aspect throughout the product’s life cycle. Organic polyurethane is used in RE/COVER green, which completely replaces the questionable polyvinylchloride (PVC) that is used in conventional design floorings. Made of nearly 90% renewable raw materials, RE/COVER green eliminates the use of chlorine, plasticisers and solvents, and is not based on petrochemical agents thanks to the use of rape seed and castor oils. As a result, this product is also odour-neutral and virtually emissions-free.

RE/COVER green not only scores points in terms of design and sustainability – this elastomer is also extremely functional. It offers high durability, an especially long lifespan, and dimensional stability, and residual indentions are very low. On top of this, it proves to have excellent values when it comes to retaining its dimensions in a warm room climate. It is especially easy to care for, perfectly suitable for refurbishment projects and, thanks to these characteristics, is ideal for use in spaces such as kindergartens, doctors’ surgeries and other facilities with a high demand for atmosphere-friendly materials.

RE/COVER green is available in a roll with a width of 200 cm and guarantees seamless optics. The product is also available as RE/COVER green PARTS featuring a plank format that is especially convenient to install. RE/COVER green satisfies all the standards of the REACH regulation and has A+ values when it comes to low room emissions – proving its focus on sustainability in this respect too.
