The ARCHITECTS' DARLING® AWARD 2020.

For the tenth time in a row, almost 200 manufacturers in the construction industry faced the critical judgement of the most important decision-makers in the construction industry - architects and planners - in the largest industry survey in Germany.

Which company offers the best services and products? Where is personal advice valued? Which manufacturer stands for sustainability and a reliable brand? The results of the ARCHITECTS' DARLING® survey, in which around 1,900 architects and planners took part, speak a clear language. This shows which companies are among the "darlings of the building industry" and are honoured with the ARCHITECTS' DARLING® Award.

This year, judging took place in 25 product areas, from floor coverings to technical products, which have become more important in Corona times: Air Conditioning Ventilation Systems and Residential Ventilation. In addition, 12 theme awards were screened and judged by a jury consisting of communication experts as well as renowned representatives of top international architectural firms. The winners were announced for the first time at an online event on 16 November 2020

The ARCHITECTS' DARLING® AWARD 2020 IN GOLD in the field of FLOOR COVERINGS (TEXTILE).

The ARCHITECTS' DARLING® Award in Gold is also considered the "Oscar of the construction industry in Germany". Vorwerk flooring was this year's winner in the category "Textile Floor Coverings". The ARCHITECTS' DARLING® award is not the first for Vorwerk flooring. In 2018 and 2016, the company had won the ARCHITECTS' DARLING® Award in the same category. Now the company has been able to secure this coveted prize for the third time.

The ARCHITECTS' DARLING® AWARD 2020 IN BRONZE IN THE FIELD OF BEST PRODUCT CONFIGURATOR.

The ARCHITECTS' DARLING® Award in the category Best Product Configurator was presented for the first time this year. The award-winning online tile configurator enables anyone to create their own individual floor designs with the 10 SL SONIC (free-form) tiles with just a few clicks. Vorwerk flooring received the bronze award for this configurator and was thus able to hold its own among the many configurators in the entire construction industry
